It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Hilliard of Charlton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Hilliard of Marlborough, David Hilliard of Chicago and Stephen Hilliard of Lincoln, Nebraska; his nieces, Dorothy B. McGrath of Amesbury and Wendy Brighton (Mark) of Pawling; his great-niece Peyton McGrath; and his great-nephews, Jacob Maciulewicz, Aidan McGrath and Drew Maciulewicz.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Dudley (135 Center Rd, Dudley, MA 01571).
