He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burns and Louise Burns (Desmond). He is survived by: his family, David, Michael and Marie; his wife Marcia Ann Ness of Newark; his children, David (Mary Anne Morgan), Michael (Robyn) and Marie Snyder (Hart); and his grandchildren, Desmond, Cormac, Emma, Finley and Frances.
