He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Theurer and Willoughby Dell; and his son Roger Martin Dell. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughter Kerry Stratton (Bill) of Trumbull, CT; his daughter-in-law Betsy Dell of San Antonio, TX; his stepchildren, Kerry Roberts (John) of North Attleboro, MA, Steve Fordyce of Madison, CT, Christine Fordyce of Newton, MA and Brook Fordyce of Jensen Beach, FLA; his godson Michael Chambers (Patty) of Greenwich, CT.; his stepgrandchildren, Steve (Patrice), Randy, Jamie Stratton (Ali), Chelsea Tautkus (James), Jack Dell, Kay Hain (Aaron), Jordan Miller (Matt), Sydney Roberts, Blake, Parker, Kylie, Kayla, Jillian and Maddie Fordyce; his sister-in-law Nancy Phelps; and his caregiver Denise Bryant. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the First Congregational Church of Chatham (650 Main St, Chatham, MA 02633).
