With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kent F. Murphy of Chatham, Massachusetts, born in Melrose, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Murphy and Ellen Murphy (Deliere); his wife Ollie (Wilson); his son Sean Joseph Murphy; his granddaughter Emma Murphy; and his sister Elaine Dawley.
He is survived by : his sons, Michael P. Murphy (Laura J.) of Peabody and Kent James Murphy of Nantucket; his daughter-in-law Cathy Murphy of Smithfield, RI; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Sean, Thomas, Kathryn, Meghan, Sam and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Josie Marie and Matilda Noemi.
