With sadness, we share the passing of Mary McDermott (Chatham, Massachusetts). Mary, born on July 19, 1953, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Mary for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Foran Stevens and Ralph J. Stevens; her brother Ralph J. Stevens, Jr.; and her husband John A. McDermott. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen McDermott (John Timbone) of Somerville; her nephew John Michael Stevens of Dennisport; and her cousins, Mary Patricia Cédelle and Anne Holden. She is also survived by friends, neighbors.
