He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Mitchell and Ella Mitchell; and his siblings, Mary-Elizabeth, Naomi, Jonathan, Samuel and David.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Mitchell; his daughter Laurie Woods (Paul); and his granddaughter Megan. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces.
