We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 99, Daphne G. Freeman of Chelmsford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert A. Russell and Daisy M. Russell (Lapworth); and her siblings, Robert A. Russell of England, Harold A. Russell of England and Kathleen I. Hummerston of England.

She is survived by : her husband Bruce; her son Bruce R. Freeman of Bedford, NH; her grandchild Russell B. Freeman (Edna) of San Francisco, CA; her son Gary R. Freeman (Jackie) of Merrimack, NH; her grandchildren, Eric R. Freeman (Laura) of Milford, NH and Leah D. Lyons (Nathan) of Merrimack, NH; her daughters, Jill J. Horan (Kevin) of Concord, NH and Deborah A. Freeman of Westford, MA; her grandchildren, George F. Maxfield of Westford, MA and Samantha M. Mello (Ben) of Dunstable, MA; her children, Mollie F. Maxfield (Billy Rogers) of Medford, MA and Dale H. Freeman (Andra) of Medway, MA; her grandchildren, Liana L. Freeman of Newton, MA and Daphne I. Freeman of Cambridge, MA.; and her great grandchildren, Cecilia Horan, Charlotte Mello, Benjamin Mello, Grace Lyons, Piper Derby, Levi Freeman, Paige Freeman, Emma Freeman, Scarlett Freeman and John Azevedo.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Central Congregational Church (1 Worthen St, Chelmsford, MA 01824).
