He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bellemore Amos (McClellan); his children, Tim (Heather), Devon (Lauren), Ben (Serena) and Scott (Mary Kate); his grandchildren, Ryan, Anna, Sean, Maggie and Lacey; and his sister Eleanor Schaltenbrand of Georgia. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
