David M. Barrett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David M. Barrett (Chelmsford, Massachusetts), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 29, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barrett and Eleanor Barrett (Mitchell). He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Curley); his children, Kathleen Barrett of Lincoln, MA and Kevin Barrett of Somerville, MA; his grandrabbits, Yogi and Finn; his pet Sam; his brother Michael Barrett; and his aunt Carol LaPierre of Hudson, MA. He is also survived by many cousins and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's name to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (http://www.whoi.edu) to honor him and his deep concern for the health of the ocean and its wildlife populations.
