With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Allen Mudgett of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perley Mudgett and Vida Mudgett (Nickerson); and his sister-in-law Cherie Mudgett. He is survived by: his wife Jane (Carleton); his son Gary (Jeanine Mudgett) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Mudgett of Lancaster, SC and Katelynn Mudgett of Charlotte, NC.; his brother Paul Mudgett; his children, John, Sue and Tim; his brother Peter (Diane Mudgett); his nieces and nephews, Allen, Leslie and Erica; his friends, Dan, Jennifer Lewis of Groton and Robert Mudgett; and also, Richard, Rosemary Mudgett of Huntsville, AL and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home (24 Worthen St, Chelmsford, MA 01824). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
