She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clark and Margaret Clark (Thomas). She is survived by: her husband David Nickerson; her children, Drew and Kara; her brother Michael; her sister-in-law Kara; her nieces and nephews, Joe, Jason, Emily and Lainey Clark; and her parents-in-law, Ernest, Cecile Nickerson, Daniel, Kerry and Rebekah Nickerson. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Denise's name to the MSPCA or the American Cancer Society.
