With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Y. (Lacharite) Cummings of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis G. Cummings. She is survived by: her children, Christine Wisnes of Chelmsford, Susan Cummings of Arnold and Daniel Cummings (Kimberly) of Nashua; her grandchildren, Michael Wisnes, Matthew Zeigenfuse, Emily Zeigenfuse, Nora Zeigenfuse, Patrick Cummings and Bryan Cummings; and her great grandchildren, Aislin, Nathaniel, AJ Wisnes, Brian, Sloane McAllister, Keira Cummings and Parker Shevrin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (29 Barker St, Lawrence, MA 01841).
