It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Flaherty of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Flaherty (Doreen) of Hamilton, MA; her parents, John Daniel and Elizabeth Martha Crane (Halloran); and her sister Kathryn Lucier (Robert Lucier) of Dracut, MA.. She is survived by: her sisters, Joan Barnes (Doug Barnes) of Bar Harbor, ME and Judy McDowell (Dennis McDowell); Elizabeth Conrad Rutherford of Nashua, NH, Kathryn Alesse (Stephen) of Arlington, MA, Cheri Campbell Conrad (late Daniel Conrad) of Tewksbury, MA, James Conrad (Kimberly) of Dover, NH and Janice Flaherty (late John Flaherty) of Plymouth, MA. She is also survived by her children, she leaves 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and life-long friends.
