He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar A. Gilet and Catherine Gilet (Crane); his brother Richard J. Gilet; and his siblings-in-law, Maryann McCarthy (Larkin) and Donald Enis.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite (Larkin); his sons, Bernard Gilet, James Gilet (Hope Jordan) and Stephen Gilet (Marie); his grandchildren, Paige, Mitchell, Jackleen, Stephanie, John, Allison and Brenn; his great grandchild Myles; his brother William J. Gilet (Sheila); his sisters-in-law, Bernardine Fountain (Liston), Elizabeth J. Enis and Bernadette Gilet; and his daughter-in-law Maureen Meehan.
