She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Henry F. Merrill; her children, Joanne Merrill (Steven Gustavson) of Nashua, NH, Nancy Merrill of Lexington, MA, Mark Merrill of Las Vegas, NV and Brian Merrill (Jon McKinney) of Providence, RI.; her granddaughter Kyla Gustavson-Pascal (Alex Pascal); her great grandchild Lola Pascal; and her pet Norbie.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (115 Middlesex St, North Chelmsford, MA 01863).
In honor of her spirit and her commitment to giving, Joan requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Falmouth Service Center at https://www.falmouthservicecenter.org, as she told us "no kid should go to bed hungry, a full belly is better than a bouquet of dead flowers."Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched—family, friends, neighbors, and anyone lucky enough to share a laugh with Joanie the Firecracker.
