He is survived by : his significant other Marlene Cote; his sons, Daniel Maguire (Clare Tidby) of Halifax and Justin Maguire of Saco, Maine; his grandsons, Evan Elizabeth and Will Tidby Maguire; and his siblings, Rachel MacDonell (Wayne), Michael Maguire (Joanne), Gregory Maguire (Andy Newman), Matthew Maguire (Nancy Halpin), Anne Maguire and Joe Maguire (Dany Adams). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

“To Johns family, I am deeply sorry to hear of Johns passing. I worked with John at FedEx Office (Kinkos) for about 9 years. I remember the barbecues he had with Marlene. John was proud of my daughter who finished college and joined and became a Army Reserve. John I will miss you, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. All of our love Josephine Susie Tony”
