He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Griffin and Jeannette Griffin (Chappie); his wife Niki L. Griffin (Rumbos); his sons, Corey Griffin and Joseph Griffin; and his siblings, Jeannette Griffin-Orpen, George Griffin, Karen Griffin-Ward, Lawrence Griffin, Linda Prendable, James Griffin, Shawn Griffin, Mark Griffin, Brian Griffin, Joyce Griffin and Derek Griffin.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
