He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lavigne and Philomena Lavigne (Moreno); his children, William Hildreth and Kathleen Weldon; and his sister Sarah Lavigne.

He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, John Johnson of Norfolk, VA, Driscoll of Greenville, NH and Missy Cataldo of Hudson, NH; his siblings, Joan Crockett of Chelmsford, MA, Sandra Arsenault of Tyngsboro, MA and Joseph (Laura Lavigne) of Waltham, MA.; and his grandchildren, Jeffery, Thomas, Matthew, Nikole, Alisha, Nathan and Alexander. He is also survived by several great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
