He was predeceased by: his parents, Goodwin Amundson and Viola Amundson (Frost); his former wives, Karoline Gertrude Amundson (Brehm) and Elisabeth Amundson (Brehm); and his siblings, Roger Amundson and Eileen Gannon.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Amundson (Foley); his children, Angelika Amundson, Karoline Barbieri (John), Linda Lablond, Marian Balke (Russell), Martin Amundson and William Amundson (Laura); and his siblings, Gordon Amundson (Sue) and Marlyss Miller (Bill). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
