She is survived by : her father Leonel Barahona; her husband Leon M. Smith; her children, Marcell Barahona of Chelsea, Leeana Smith, Leon P. Smith and Max L. Smith; her mother Ana Monterroso Barahona of Chelsea; and her sibling Eucli Barahona (Nathalie Cuhat-Barahona) of No. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

She worked with Boston Center for Independent Living and CAPIC recently assisting with providing Covid-19 vaccines to the community.
