Kowalski (Hartigan); his children, Stacey Gurska (Michael) of Middleton, Frank Kowalski, Jr. (Susan) of North Andover, Lauren Dalton (John) of Haverhill and Lynn Hardy of West Newbury; his sisters, Barbara Lawlor (late John) and Susan Lupoli (Dominic); his grandchildren, Courtney Gurska, Lindsay Gurska-Michella (Brian Michella), Michael, Meaghan Gurska, Amelia, Elijah Kowalski, Madeline, Jack, Samuel Dalton, Richie and Lila Hardy; and his great grandchild Tyler Michella.

He spent his entire life in Chelsea, where he made enduring contributions to both his family and the community.
