James Hynes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Hynes of Chelsea, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hynes and Catherine Hynes (Lewin); and his sister Mary Mallet (Ernest). He is survived by: his siblings, Celia Day (late Thomas) and William Hynes; and his nephew Dennis Mallet (Nancy Zajac). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
