He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leo and Evelyn MacDonald (Foster); his daughter Carrie Ann MacDonald; his grandchild Cary; and his brother Donald Sawyer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacquelyn Watts (Michael) of Foothill Ranch, California and Suellen Durkin of Norwell; his grandchildren, Zachary, Micaela, Liam, Thomas, Jake, Daniel, Brendan, Caleigh, Bailey, Caitlin and Sean; his sister Carole Draheim of Hanover; and his son-in-law Thomas Durkin of Hull. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Joseph's name to the charitable organization of one's choice.
