He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Tamarkin and Melvin Tamarkin. He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Roberts; his children, Cantor Tanya Greenblatt (Scott Greenblatt), Noah Tamarkin (Juno Salazar Parreñas) and Emily Tamarkin; his brother Lawrence Tamarkin (Cali Tamarkin); his sister-in-law Mary Routhe; his grandsons, Joshua, Michael and Theodore Greenblatt; his former wife Susan Solomon (Marshall); and his aunt Bernice Cohen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
