She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Weidner and Margaret Weidner (Quill); and her sister Sally (Bill DeNisco). She is survived by: her stepmother Eleanor Weidner (Doyle); her husband Samuel A. "Sam" Montefusco; her children, Ellen Benson (Greg) of Peabody, Karen Buckley (Chris) of Saugus and Eric Montefusco (Patrice) of Revere; her grandchildren, Christopher Benson (Colleen Curran-Benson), Derek Buckley (Kaitlyn), Brian Benson (Jillian Ells-Benson), Samantha Montefusco, Erin Petrillo (Anthony) and Scott Montefusco; her great grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Lyla Curran-Benson, Olivia and Cameron Buckley; and her sisters, Celia Cloutier (late Thomas) and Virginia Dionne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welsh Funeral Home (718 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (194 Nichols St, Everett, MA 02149). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (302 Elm St, Everett, MA 02149).
