He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bachelder and Barbara Bachelder (Frost); and his siblings, Sharon Haney, Philip Bachelder and Lane Bachelder.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bachelder (Walkama) of Athol; his children, Stephanie Bachelder of Athol, Richard Bachelder (Carol) of Gardner, Christopher Bachelder of Gardner and Heidi Sugalski (Derek) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Derrek Bachelder of Gardner, Robert Bachelder of Gardner and Julia Sugalski of Ashland; and his sisters, Ann Perham (Brad) of Londonderry, NH, Susan Cloutier (Ray) of Orange and Nancy Reed (Duncan) of Florida. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Witty's Funeral Home (158 S Main St, Orange, MA 01364). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
