He is survived by: his wife Teresa (Cochran); his children, Elisabeth Petersen (Kevin) of Maynard, Matthew Desmond of Chestnut Hill and Joseph Desmond (Madylin Perry) of Ipswich; his grandsons, Benjamin and Liam; and his siblings, Cynthia Quinn (Dennis) of Ipswich, Terrance Desmond (Brenda), Francis Desmond (Kathy) of Ipswich, Neil Desmond (Rona Fullerton) of Hamilton, Daniel Desmond (Deborah), Kevin Desmond of Ipswich and Tim Desmond.
