Mayer leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mayer’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mayer will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol J. Singer; his children, Dan Rabinovitz (Holly) of Needham and Laura Rabinovitz (Erik Esckilsen) of Burlington, Vermont; his grandchildren, Louis Rabinovitz (Olivia Joy) of Brookline, Peter Rabinovitz of Manhattan, Stella and Lucy Esckilsen of Burlington, Vermont.; his mother Gertrude Leavitt; his friend Herbert Phillips; and his father-in-law Harold Singer.
