He was predeceased by : his wife Dolores J. Woishnis (Salamon); his son Paul F. Woishnis; his grandson Matthew Woishnis; and his siblings, Mary Labun, Victoria DiVirgilio, Joseph Woishnis, Alfred Woishnis and Julia Kozikowski.

He is survived by : his children, Michael J. Woishnis (Marilyn) of Chicopee, Donna A. Crevier (Ted) of Chicopee and David Woishnis of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Michael Woishnis (Shannon), Jen Russo (Paul), Katelyn Rego (Luis), Jeff Woishnis (Kathleen), Justin Woishnis (Tina), Jessica Fradette (Josh), Alyssa Crevier, Luke Woishnis, Ben Woishnis and Drew Woishnis. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Stanislaus Basilica (566 Front St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
