Arlene L. Bessette Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene L. Bessette of Chicopee, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene L. Bessette to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lortie and Marion Lortie (Demers); her husband Donald Bessette; her siblings, William Lortie and Kathleen Lortie; her grandson Timothy Rufo; and her brother-in-law Daniel Peloquin.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian and Gregory Duffy of Chicopee; her siblings, Paul Lortie of Maine, Carolyn Ann Drost (Edward) of Chicopee and Joanne M. Peloquin of Chicopee; her granddaughters, Ashley Rufo and Jordan Duffy; her great grandchild Landon; and her aunt Janet Woods (Gregory Duffy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brunelle Funeral Home (811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Rose de Lima Cemetery (49 Olsen St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
