Bernadette (Mulder) Rizzo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernadette (Mulder) Rizzo of Chicopee, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Mulder of Iowa and Rita Robinson of New York; her former husband Michael O'Brien; her husband Joseph Rizzo; and her siblings, Joyce Annokkee, Rita Hill, Eugene Mulder, Peter Mulder and Susan McDowell.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith O'Brien (Kerri) of Enfield, Michael O'Brien (Heather) of Chicopee, James O'Brien (Erika Hughes) of Chicopee and Christopher Carroll of Chicopee; her stepson Scott Rizzo (Loretta) of New York; her brother Robert Mulder of New York; her grandchildren, Anthony Noel, Devin O'Brien, Caitlin O'Brien, Delaney O'Brien, Brendan Wise, Julia Pollano, Zachary Montalvo and Faith Rizzo; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Mason and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home (69 East St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
