He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Emil M. Ferris and Mary A. Ferris (Fahey). He is survived by : his children, Dr. Elsa L. Ferris, Mariel A. Knight (Jarrod) and Spencer E. Ferris; his siblings, Paul T. Ferris, Angela Ferris Chambers and Elizabeth A. Ferris; and his nieces, Nora Sandoval (Alex) and DeeDee Chambers (Michael Clavenna).
