Carlton Roy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carlton Roy (Chicopee, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Roy and Evelyn F. Roy (Pelchar); and his mother-in-law Constance Pouliot. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Roy (Pouliot) of Granby; his children, Carlton R. Roy Jr. (Kate Deady Roy) of Ludlow, Keith L. Roy (Angela Roy) of Westfield and Gennifer V. Roy of Holyoke; his sister Susan Benoit of Chicopee; his father-in-law Lawrence "Larry" Pouliot of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Jaxson, Lawrence and Maria; his brother Keith Walas (Dianne) of Granby; and his siblings' children, Jesse, Zachary Benoit, Brooke Moreau, Amber, Cameron Szczygiel, Jason, Jeremy Ferriera, Konner Costello, Nicholas and Katelyn Walas. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A prayer was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the LifePoint Church (603 New Ludlow Rd, Chicopee, MA 01020).
