He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Szetela and Carol Szetela; his son John Szetela; his sister Patricia Szetela; and his close friends, Jimmy Stefanik, Herb Curry and Jimmy Kijak.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his friend Kaz Machowski; and his daughters, Mary (Scott McNair), Susan Lopes of Chicopee, MA, Nancy (Walter Currier), Sarah (James Bolton), Caroly (Richard Calderigi) and Catherine (William Reyes). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
