David Larkin Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Larkin (Chicopee, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Leary Larkin and Jean M. Larkin (Watson). He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Larkin (Couture) of Chicopee; his brother Michael Larkin (Christine Mills-Larkin) of Chicopee; and his stepchildren, Craig Heroux of Agawam, Kimberly Slachetka (Jim) of Chicopee, Laurie Card (Jason) of South Carolina, Julie Lingenberg (Bob) of Chicopee and Jennifer Lopez (Armondo) of Maryland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (395 Chestnut St, Springfield, MA 01104).
