She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Buteau and Corinne Buteau (Vincent); her husband Eugene Asselin; her son Craig Asselin; her siblings, John Buteau, Normand Buteau, Madeline Sample, Laurette Valentine and Theresa Maiolo; and her sister-in-law Barbara Cove.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Diane Asselin of Longs, SC. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Rose de Lima Church (600 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's New England, 516 Carew St, Springfield, MA 01104 or to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry, 170 Pendexter Ave, Chicopee, MA 01013.
