She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard W. Johnston and Dorothy E. Johnston (Chandler); her former husband Pasquale Capuano; her son Pasquale Capuano; and her sisters, Theora McGovern and Beverly Whitaker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Capuano of Pittsfield and Taryl L. Myers of Chicopee; her former husband David R. Ricard of Chicopee; and her sister Kimberly Nelson of California. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
