He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmond J. Plouffe and Marguerite Plouffe (Laporte); his wife Phyllis J. Plouffe (Sumowski) of Chicopee; his children, Felicia H. Hyde (Michael Syriac) of Chicopee, Edmond "Eddie" Plouffe Jr. (Angie Childers) of Chicopee, Jacob Plouffe (Ana) of Chicopee and Susan Galarza (Bill Bill) of Chicopee; his siblings-in-law, John Sumowski (Linda) of Feeding Hills, Mary Cousineau (Ralph) of Chicopee and Sharon Duchane (Jay) of Ludlow; his nephew Billy Wlodyka of Chicopee; and his sisters, Anne Wlodyka and Martha Plouffe. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
