It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fletcher Ramsey (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Easley, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Fletcher Lincoln Gamble; his stepfather Thurman Ramsey; his stepson Bryant Smith; and his brother Jesse Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Smith-Ramsey of Chicopee; his mother Frances M. Ramsey of Easley, SC; his sons, Fletcher D. Ramsey Jr. and Douglas Ramsey (Stephanie); his stepchildren, Marvin and Samara Smith of Chicopee; and his siblings, Thurman "June" Ramsey of Easley, SC, Valerie Hendricks (Floyd) of Easley, SC and Lucille "Hope" Valentine (Lewis) of Bellevue, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
