Irena Remillard Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irena Remillard (Chicopee, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Camille Toussaint and Rina Toussaint (Ringuette); her husband Lionel M. Remillard; her siblings, Clarence, Elmer, Gordon Toussaint, Linda Toussaint and Camilla Leclerc; her sisters-in-law, Diane Toussaint and Laureanne Dumont (Claude Dumont, Sr.); Marc Charland.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa A. Remillard of Ludlow; her grandson Caleb Guillemette; her son-in-law Justin Guillemette of West Springfield; her siblings, Allan of Springfield, Diane Crafsic (David) of Chicopee, Nancy Toussaint of Quebec and Brenda Toussaint of Ware; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Remillard of West Springfield, Serge Leclerc of Chicopee, Denis D'Amours of Quebec, Lise Larochelle (Emilien) of West Springfield, Denise Toussaint (Richard Boyce, Sr.) of Chicopee and Ghislaine Toussaint (John Seda) of Westfield. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sainte Rose de Lima Church (594 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
