Gemme; her sons, William Batchelor, Jr. and David Batchelor; her daughter-in-law Nadene Batchelor; her grandchildren, Gary Perkins and Alexandria Houle; and her siblings, George, Dolphus, Alma Fortier, Lillian Labonte, Evangeline "Gee Gee" Bussard, Joelus, John Fortier, Alberta "Tata" Neilon, Rosanna "Rosie" Ford, Albert "Sonny" Fortier, Claire "Bucky" Ganis and Louise Fortier.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Batchelor (Charlene) of Agawam, Dennis Batchelor of Chicopee, Steven Batchelor of Chicopee, Richard Batchelor (Doreen) of Chicopee, John Batchelor (Lisa) of Westfield, Ann Volkers of Agawam, Robert Batchelor of Chicopee, Roger Batchelor of Chicopee, Ronald Batchelor (Dawn) of Florida and Lawrence Batchelor of Chicopee; her daughter-in-law Constance Batchelor of Granby; and her sister Rita Fabricius of South Hadley. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels (506 Britton St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anne Church (30 College St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
