She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil E. Rioux and Lillia J. Rioux (Duval); her significant other Robert D. Mashia; and her daughter Diane M. Mashia. She is survived by: her children, Daniel J. Mashia of Chicopee and Linda R. McNamee (Paul) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Gwyneth McNamee and Evan McNamee; her sister Irene Choquette of Lebanon, CT; and her sister-in-law Claire Oberman of Trinity, FL. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels (506 Britton St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anne Church (30 College St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020 or Our Lady of the Elms College, Institutional Advancement, 291Springfield Street, Chicopee, MA 01013-2839.
