He is survived by: his sons, James Parrish (Marquita) of Cary, NC and Nathaniel Parrish (Barbara); and his siblings, Melvin Parrish of Chapel Hill, NC, Rev. David Parrish of Chapel Hill, NC, Geneva Morrow of Cleveland, OH, Frances Oluwo of Greensboro, NC, Elizabeth Ellison of Graham, NC, Jennie Foushee of Chapel Hill, NC, Coline Massey of Monroe, NC, Barbara Parrish of Chesterfield, VA and Shelby White (Leonard) of Chapel Hill, NC.. He is also survived by grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whole Truth Temple Church of God in Christ (8 Norfolk St, Springfield, MA 01109). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (426 Bay St, Springfield, MA 01109).
