With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Hopkins (Chicopee, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hopkins and Regina Hopkins (Bujnicki); and his brother John Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Luiza Hopkins (Carreira) of Brimfield; his siblings, Joseph Hopkins (Donna) of Templeton, Marie Borjeson of Norwood and Valerie Hopkins of Palmer; his niece Tiffany Borjeson (Keith Herer); and his great-niece Ellison Herer.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A prayer was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
