He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Gagne and Beatrice Gagne (Laroche); his former wife Rita Gagne (Gagne); his son Denis Gagne; and his sister Lillian Stenta.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Hanechak Gagne (Lefebvre); his children, Maurice Gagne (Janice) of Ludlow, Rachel Ashline of Bristol, VT, Jacqueline Depatie (Simon) of Highgate, VT, David, Michael and Brian Hanechak; and his siblings, Lina Roberge, Rolande Renaud, Cyrille Gagne and Dianne Laroche. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
