(Duplessis) Russell McClain of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 29, 2026 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anselme L. Duplessis and Corona Duplessis (Auger); her former husband Richard B. Russell; her husband Robert "Bob" McClain; her daughter-in-law Elaine McClain; and her sisters, Therese Sarrasin (Edward) and Claire Foley (Harold).
She is survived by: her sons, Steven R. Russell (Brenda Cortina) of Chicopee, Michael D. Russell (Donna) of Port Charlotte, FL and James T. Russell (Mary Ziemba) of Port Charlotte, FL; her stepsons, Robert R. McClain of Sturbridge, Kevin G. McClain (Lois) of South Hadley and Shawn A. McClain (Tracy) of Ware; and her siblings-in-law, Earl, Daniel McClain, Helen Smus and Linda Beaulieu. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six step grandchildren; her cherished seven great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren; her cherished three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry, 170 Pendexter Avenue, Chicopee, MA 01013.
