The passing of Joaquina A. Bergeron (Chicopee, Massachusetts) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Augusto and Maria Augusto (Batista); her significant other Deacon Leo A. Bergeron; her siblings, Celeste Augusto, Teresa Augusto, Jose Augusto, Lourdes Swicanski, Arthur Augusto and Aurea Grenier; her nephew Michael Houlihan; and her niece Cathy Herold. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sainte Rose de Lima Church (594 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Diocese of Springfield Diaconate Formation, PO Box 1730, Springfield, MA 01102-1730.
