He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Canavan and Margaret Canavan (Turley). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. "Dotty" Canavan (Fiore); his children, Tara Jeane Tifft (Robert) of Liverpool, NY, Kristine Canavan of Wayland, MA and Craig Canavan (Maryanne) of Lagrangeville, NY; and his grandchildren, Connor, Colleen, Margaret Tifft, William, Joseph Burke, Ruby and Hazel Canavan.
