He is survived by: his mother Rosa Nereida Montes Rodriguez; his children, Diannette Marrero, Jade Elsamahy and Johnny Jr.; his siblings, Luis Marrero, William Ramos, Migdalia Ramos and Sylvia Marrero; and his grandchildren, Tatianna Green, Janaiah Maldonado, Jasminn Green, Ethan Maldonado, Arianah Maldonado and Giannella Marrero. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
