He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosaire J. Turgeon and Bernadette M. Turgeon (Gravel); his son Joseph R. "Joey" Turgeon; his siblings, Adolphe Turgeon, Palmer Turgeon (Dorothy), Lucien Turgeon (Coszette), Ralph Turgeon (Constance), Roger Turgeon (Celia), Gabrielle Hennessey (Raymond) and Gisele Bernier; his brothers-in-law, Joseph and Martin; and his sister Cecile Hooper (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy G. "Dottie" Turgeon (Gorman); his sons, Robert J. "Bob" Turgeon (Emily Raymond) of Chicopee, William J. "Bill" Turgeon of Chicopee and Brian J. Turgeon (Regina "Gina" Turgeon) of Spring Hill, FL; his grandsons, Joshua, Jacob and Evan Turgeon; his nephew Matthew Turgeon of Chicopee; and his niece Christina Turgeon of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by his many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Anne Church (30 College St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Sunshine Village, 75 Litwin Lane, Chicopee, MA 01020.
